"The public areas of the hotel are very nice and well maintained. The pools are plentiful and shade is readily available. I did not go to the beach. Too hot for me.
Our room was clean. Nice balcony on the garden view. Furnishings and decor is dated and tired but the hotel has a major update planned so will get better soon.
Staff accommodated our reservation request to be close to elevator. Much appreciated. "

"3rd time to this resort. The Westin club rooms and pool area have improved but food selection and quality has slipped a bit. Premium liquor package did not include pinot Grigio and still a bit suspicious of alcohol content in the whisky I had; I never got a buzz! The concrete paths throughout the resort need a good cleaning and re-coating. Happy with our club level suite and room amenities. Dinner reservations are a bit of a game…club personnel made them for 4 days in advance when we arrived but...

"The resort is lovely, we enjoyed the food at the buffet and the restaurants plus we loved breakfast and lunch at the grill restaurant. Our room was always clean and welcoming.
Enrique (restaurant manager) organized a beautiful milestone birthday celebration in the Italian restaurant that was perfect!
Kevin (entertainment manager) had great events organized and I enjoyed stretch class and aquafit in the pool every morning.

"Very relaxed place, slightly older crowd, people are here for peace and quiet. There is a private beach better than those over-rated beaches at Playa Coco and and Playa Hermosa. There is a good pool and pool bar. Howler monkeys move through the trees and you can see them every day. The staff of young people were wonderful and very attentive and accommodating.
