"Great location for Lake District and Lancashire an on to North Yorkshire/Yorkshire Dales without the premium price. Breakfast was plentiful and staff accommodating of a large party. We were able to change our room due to an error on our part, without problem or charge. Parking was always available and accessible."

"The Skipton Hotel was well appointed for a short towpath walk to Skipton centre. It had a lovely view, staff were generally helpful, and breakfast was fine.
Our room though (a studio on floor 5) was baking hot and when we complained about this we got given an extra fan. It wasn't just that the weather was hot (it was) but the generators and other plant equipment sent heat through the floor into the room making it sauna like. We feel we should have asked to be moved but didn't want to complain...

"Room not what we were expecting as it wasn’t a cabin but a very damp smelling old and worn lodge in a row of other lodges which were all connected together. However after paying an upgrade on our booking we were allocated a large cabin near the lake"

"The room was very clean, and the facilities within the room were excellent. There was a wonderful view of the beach from the restaurant area. Most of the staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. The main problem we had was that every time we sat down at an empty table for an evening meal, we had to ask a member of staff to clean the surface of the table, which was still sticky from the previous occupant.
