"We were only advised of the ongoing construction project after paying for the booking. Checking in was very poor and we had a long wait for the room to be ready. "Such a wonderful place to land after 22 hours of travel. I took a hot bath, slept great, and had a delicious breakfast surrounded by gorgeous gardens. Easy to find, great staff, and certainly worth your money!"

"Lovely clean kings size room with own patio to sit and enjoy the sun. There’s about 4 different areas to park at . Staff very helpful and with a smile when serving also a bar and lounge to sit, we didn’t use it but it’s there"

"overall our weekend break in the Salutation Hotel, Ambleside was very enjoyable, couldnt fault the very pleasant staff/ service. The meals especially the Breakfast was outstanding. Our room was very comfortable and had everything required for an enjoyable stay. One struggle initially was the parking but eventually we got sorted and it was a very busy Bank holiday weekend."
