"Excellent."

"I was able to check in online before I arrived at The Kicking Dickey. The staff were very helpful and friendly along with the pub which I thought was very welcoming. My room was at the rear of the property so away from any noise. The room itself was comfortable and well maintained, I think it might of been a converted stable. Nice functional bathroom with a shower and a very comfortable single bed. Lots of free parking outside the property. All in all well worth a stay."

"All the staff where polite and helpful, it just probably my over sights that I didn’t know this is a pub and a busy one, it was 1 in the morning with music playing that I emailed the pub to ask when things would quiet down and my young child couldn’t sleep. Very basic room, screw on the floor, cracks in the walls, dirty toilet and bath."

Great location with added bonus of Toby Carvery close by and M and S garage shop so you can’t ask for more 😁 The accommodation was clean and tidy everywhere, the staff were all lovely, very helpful and friendly Breakfast was included in the booking so a great deal. "Beautiful bedroom very large and spacious, as was the en-suite shower room. The bed and bedding were excellent and I had a wonderful nights sleep. The water in the shower was hot and a good pressure. However the flush for the toilet was not working. I would also recommend the owners supply bedside lights as there were none and the main light switch was over by the door. A kettle and teabags/coffee were provided in the room but no milk or water. I would also recommend a fresh homemade loaf be...

"Lovely room decor and staff!"

"The hotel was good for £58 a night just before flying. The lady behind the desk was absolutely lovely when we checked in. The rooms were clean but they miss out on detailed cleaning but for one night, it isn’t an issue. Room was huge, we walked in and said ‘woah’! Very close to the airport, easy bus services that drop you off just outside the services. Also very close to multi different food places and they had their own separate car park from the services one."
