"The hotel is in a small town, so our expectations were not the greatest, but this place knocked it out of the park! The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, the room was spacious, and the location was great for all of our side trips to VT, MA and northern NY. Staying local near Caroga and Canada Lakes was also great. Hiking, kayaking, the race track at Saratoga, Baseball Hall of Fame all less than a 2 hour drive! Highly recommend!!"

"I complained twice about a extremely noisy air conditioning unit in the room next to me. Nothing was done. I request to change room but front desk said they would solve the problem. Nothing happened."

"There were some pros and cons. The construction was a huge disappointment. In the addition of having to drive and walk though the construction areas (mud and maybe nails), we also had to hear the noise in the evening and early morning. We should’ve been notified or at least offered a discount because of the inconvenience. The private beach was nice, but there were no towels because they ran out. Be prepared to bring some from the hotel. No ventilation in the bathroom, toilet paper isbetween...

"Half of the parking lot out front is dug up and closed, but it's still possible to drive up to the hotel's reception area/lobby to drop off people/things."
