"Here’s a polished version that keeps your casual, fun tone while reading a bit more smoothly:
The hotel is in the perfect spot on the bay, tucked away from the crowded tourist beaches and constant parade of beach vendors. Most of the restaurants are oceanfront, so nearly every meal comes with an incredible view. And don’t be afraid of the buffet. It actually has some of the best views on the property!
The rooms were fresh, clean, and very comfortable. The beds were great, the A/C worked perfectly, and everything felt well maintained.
As for the food, I’d say it’s decent. Nothing mind blowing, but if you keep your expectations realistic, you’ll find plenty to enjoy.
The pool ended up being the highlight of our stay because the sargassum (the never-ending seaweed) unfortunately took away much of the beautiful turquoise water the area is known for. And wow… it can definitely have a strong smell. To be fair, the resort is doing everything they can to manage it and keep guests happy, but it’s something to be aware of if you’re visiting during sargassum season.
Overall, we had a great stay and would return. I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars."
Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"- Excellent customer service
- Good options for food
- More if a relaxed vibe than a party setting
- Lots of beautiful wild life to observe.
- Need more guest entertainment/evening shows
- Lower room I was first given had an overwhelming mold smell and I had to be moved. Moved to a nicer upper unit and they were kind about it but if you smell mold, move. They tried to tell me it was normal but started to feel sick when in the room.
- I would still 100% go back back because of the beauty of the resort, the variety of food and restaurants and the great customer care while there
- If you can book directly with the resort as its cheaper than expedia packages and you get VIP access."
