One person doing check-ins on a Friday evening made for a slow check-in process.
What we didn’t enjoy: our shower had cold water for both of us. I called the front desk immediately after showering, and was told to turn on the kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and shower for hot water. Um, what? Isn’t this a newer hotel? I told her I’d be happy with either a discount or free breakfast the next morning for not having warm water.
Upon checkout I was told a manager will contact me Monday morning. No one contacted me.
I called several times on Tuesday before I reached the manager. His staff provided him with incorrect info of what happened with the shower, so he said he’d call me back. 24 hrs later, still no call.
I called him back and Vivek, the manager, basically said he talked to the guests who stayed beside us (interesting) and they all had warm water. And if it’s a water issue, it affects the whole floor. It was a female I spoke to on Friday night, and he told me there were no females working. In other words, according to Vivek, I’m lying.
Very, very disappointed in the customer service we received.
We normally stay at Wingate across the street, but had a last minute trip and this was cheaper. Bad mistake. We won’t be back."
