"Housekeeping could have been better. Water glasses were not properly cleaned, a bath towel put in our room after cleaning was dirty, wash clothes were forgotten one day. Also, a problem with HVAC, was turned off inexplicably and had to call down to rectify."

"BED BUGS Absolutely disgusting property. I would discourage and even warn people not to stay here. My sister and I woke up with bites all over our bodies and visible bugs all over the bed( if you can see bed bugs, there is an INFESTATION"

"The hotel is an excellent location, right by the Museumplein tram stop (~25 min bus from airport), the Rijksmuseum/Van Gogh museums, and ~15-30 min walk to the Jordaan and more central spots. The neighborhood was quiet, and the hotel was right on the Vondelpark. There was always someone at the desk/entrance. Truly my only annoyance was that we arrived a couple of hours before check-in to drop off bags, our room happened to be ready, but we were asked to pay a ~20 euro charge for an early check-in fee if we wanted to actually access the room (we had not requested early check-in in). We paid it, as it was worth it to us to clean up after an overnight international flight, but I’ve never been asked to do this before."

"Our room was spacious, lots of windows for bright, natural light and very high ceilings. Overlooking the canal, the staff was very professional and helpful with all of our questions not only about the hotel, but about surrounding areas and transportation. The breakfast was fresh a good assortment for every taste."
