"We came in late with a large group and for the price didn't expect much, however, this hotel was one of the best and most convenient of our trip. Right by the airport with great transfer options. They were willing to make food for us even though we were in late, but we just ordered uber eats. The rooms were very comfy, really nice bathrooms. Clean towels and comfortable beds and linens. Absolutely one of my best budget hotel experiences and I've been all over the world! Service was great!...

"The hotel is an oasis of peace in a beautiful Surrey town. The staff were very helpful and the grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was excellent. However the room was not as luxurious as the photos had led us to expect. Also curry night needs to consider English tastes, the korma was so spicy I could not eat it, very disappointing. Overall I would recommend the hotel as the situation, grounds and staff were brilliant."

"Useful location but very close to the A30. Nice hotel/former coaching Inn with friendly welcome. Plenty of parking. Good breakfast. The good size double room had a kettle with coffee bags, fan, hairdryer, iron and ironing board plus large TV. The mattress was a bit too firm for our comfort though."

"Overall, my experience was positive with a few minor drawbacks. My room was located in a separate building, just above the gym. There were no lifts, so this could be an issue for people with mobility issues. The room itself was on the smaller side but had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows were really comfy. However, one downside was the loud music coming from the gym. Even though my room was two floors above, the noise was noticeable and a bit disruptive at times...

"Runnymede is a great hotel near Royal Windsor. The hotel has great amenities and entertainment. Food was good but in both restaurants the food could have been served hotter. It was warm but questionable!"

"Lift "Out of Order", Jacuzzi "Out of Order", Chef "Out of Order". This is not a 4 star hotel, they seem to be struggling to maintain it and staff it sufficiently. After waiting one hour ten minutes for our food, two out of three meals were awful; dry, tasteless and covered in red chillies to disguise them. Most staff were lovely, they have a tough job there though."

"We loved the older Country Club charm. It was beautiful to look out at the water from our room and walk to the castle ruins. The dining is charming as well! Great spot for quietness. We will come back!"

"My second visit in 2 months based on my first, very positive experience. Again I booked the dinner, bed and breakfast package for a similar value to a bed and breakfast stay elsewhere. I was given a room on the ground floor close to the dining area and rear entrance which suited me fine. Parking was easy and dinner was tremendous. I went for the same walk to Chawton. A great night's sleep was followed by a great breakfast and I left again very fulfilled with my accommodation experience."
