"Positiv war der tägliche Service mit frischem Wasser im Zimmer sowie die Klimaanlage, die besonders wichtig war, da sich das Zimmer kaum sinnvoll lüften ließ. Deutliche Schwächen gab es bei der Sauberkeit: Handtücher wurden nicht regelmäßig gewechselt und der Teppich war sichtbar verschmutzt. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr beengt und bot wenig Komfort. Insgesamt für kurze Aufenthalte noch akzeptabel, für mehrere Nächte aber nur bedingt empfehlenswert."

"The property was in a great location to the train station. It was clean and they provided water during the heat wave. The staff were nice, helpful and attentive. They were really serious about asking if you had food allergies too. I would stay there again."

"Lovely flat, newly renovated, cosy and bright. Great location, close to Camden market and to buses, overground and underground stations. You can access the canal path right down the building for a lovely walk. The communication with the host was perfect. As previous comments mentioned, the only downside is the shower heater that is hard to get right, if not impossible. But during heatwave, cold showers were much welcomed ;) Overall an amazing stay :)"

"The bed was huge and very comfortable, the shower was hot and facilities were good. It was very good value for the rate. The location was great. I can't say it was spotlessly clean, just normal levels of clean. A few bits need some refreshing, and there was some noise transfer from other rooms but overall would stay here again. A good, affordable base in great location. "

"The Brownswood is lovely and I keep returning year after year. It feels like staying with family. Pub is a great time. Quick access on bus network or plenty of bikes around make commuting to central easy."

"The hotel is modest, but beautifully updated and very clean. Our room had a kitchen, laundry facilities, and a very nice bathroom. The bedroom was small, but I’ve seen much smaller in Central London for double the price. Staff were very kind and allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours after checkout so we could do a bit more sightseeing before our flight."

Table top fans are provided. - The room facing the street is super noisy at night because there are at least multiple commercial front-load dumpsters that are constantly worked on by garbage collection workers throughout the weeknights (it's non-stop for the whole nights). "Immaculately clean, well located hotel less than 2 mins walk to chalk road, camden and 7 mins walk to Camden underground stations which offers easy connections connects into central London. Right on the doorstep of the Roundhouse and Camden Market. Plenty place to eat snd drink nearby too"

"Absolutely disgusting no ac working cracked floor boards dirt marks all over bed sheets and curtains table has mould on i have taken pictures and videos sent to expedia and the hotel directly no response at all stay away i stayed in may 30th 2026 it was 28 degrees that night they had no ac working and gave me the worst experience ever"

"I stayed for only one night. For the money, the hotel was a good choice. Important was that it was clean. There was some noise where my room was, a sound like a washing machine does, but I did not really understand where exactly it was coming from. The staff at the reception was very polite and friendly, to the extend I interacted with them I am very happy."
