"I was disappointed with this hotel as it was supposed to be 5 star. The staff were just ok didn’t really go out of their way with help or advice. The barman was quite unhelpful and rude. Also there was building work going on next door so we couldn’t even sit on the balcony or have the doors open because of this. The hotel did not fore warn us of this when we booked otherwise I would have reconsidered our stay!"

"Beautiful room with beautiful view of the river, just like on the picture. Great location as well, about 10-15 minutes walk to most attractions. The host was great at communication. The only thing is initially we were charged the wrong amount for the city tax, which was confusing why that happened . Make sure to double check how many euros per person a day for the city tax."

"The service stood out as amazing with a feel of concierge service. Alejandro, Luisa and Beatrice made me feel very welcome. The room was very clean and overlooked the iconic river, where you can feel the cool breeze and hear the seagulls and faraway live music. The complimentary breakfast and service can rival any 5-star service and quality."

"Practical position to access Porto Town. Plenty buses if you didn’t want to walk. Suite was very well proportioned, clean, comfortable bed and good quality to, coffee machine, kettle etc. We had breakfast 2 mornings and it was delicious, croissants, bread, meat, cheese, jam, yogurt, fruit, orange juice and coffee. "I did not get a printed bill so have no idea what i was charged for, i was charged 39 euro for a glass of wine without being asked if that price was okay, felt like i was being taken advantage of at each turn amd pretty upset. The staff are cur courteous but trained to push an agenda rather than understand what the guest wants. "

"Absolutely incredible hotel with amazing stuff. Everything was absolutely amazing. Even the rooftop, uh, bar was super nice to to watch the sunset and drink a cup of coffee or a pint of beer. We had the best time walking towards the town from this hotel. Next by the river And we definitely enjoy the free bikes.And I just loved it here.I will definitely come back as many times as I can"
