"Hotel isn't old but looks very tired - bathrooms are dark and dingy, furniture in the rooms looks tatty. It might be clean but doesn't look it. Breakfast is plentiful but poorly cooked - and this isn't just for this stay, but regularly eggs are undercooked, bacon and sausages are undercooked. It's all just a bit poor! Wen i started staying here - 10ish years ago it was excellent. Those standards have slipped."

"The pub wasn’t busy when I stayed but the landlord was very welcoming and friendly . All food Is homemade and when I was there the landlord was the chef ! …. I will certainly be back ….. they obviously care about their customers ."
