"Only slight issue it was a bit chilly in the room though not too bad and we were only there a night so didn’t mention. Otherwise all good. Great central location opposite park (handy for dog walking). You made our dog very welcome. You have lovely staff who seemed genuinely interested in guests. You have a lovely bar and restaurant/room service. Parking next door easy to access. "

"Generally shambolic… check-in not smooth, bed not made properly, but worst of all was breakfast. Not enough tables, coffee machines kept malfunctioning, no eggs apart from scrambled and the bacon was like cardboard. Unfortunately the breakfast seemed to be run by good hearted but overworked kids. Can’t blame them, management obviously poor. For £140+ per night this is frankly poor value."

"The staff are nice, bed comfortable, great location. The breakfast was chaotic and not that great. The main reason for the low score was that the water was lukewarm for the entirety of our two-night stay. We mentioned it immediately and had no real response. On check-out they said it was a hotel-wide issue and was now fixed. I appreciate that it wasn’t their fault and they must’ve been doing their best to fix it, but more communication on the issue would have been good, and the compulsory cold...

"The staff were so helpful and room was very clean. I had both breakfast and dinner at the Bistro, the food was so delicious! I would definitely stay here again if I came back to the Bristol. The building itself and window views were aesthetically pleasing."

"Location is perfect, close to lots of things to do and see. The staff are all very nice and friendly, can't folt them at all. The room we stayed in could do with a bit of an upgrade in the bathroom and a freshen up but it was still a nice enough stay. Food was beautiful, dining room was very clean and nicely presented. Would highly recommend."

"Stains on seats, old and tired, had to wait 20 mins for the room to be finished but unlike the other couple also waiting we were not offered complementary breakfast forbthe delay, for the price we paid it was seriously underwhelming for £135 "
