"The guest house was small and intimate. The staff of one, Clara, was exceptional: friendly, helpful, efficient, accommodating. The room was comfortable and quiet. The location was close to shopping, restaurants, transportation, and many key points of interest: Colosseum, Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and many others. Warning: Do not rely on Google Maps for directions. We got hopelessly lost four times in ten days in 95 degree heat. Get good directions from locals who are well...

"The host was very kind, room was clean. The view is non existent. The stairs to get up to the 3rd floor with luggage are a nightmare. The jacuzzi looked nasty. The towels were brown and the apartment smelled like cigarettes. The WiFi hardly worked and would cut in and out every 5 minutes. The shower water never got warm."

We were tired and feeling ready for home when we arrived, and our 20 hours in Rome, founded on a relaxing home base at Rhea Luxury Navona, ended our whole experience on a highlight. "The experience we had here was amazing. They were quick to respond if we had any questions and were very kind and helpful. We are allowed to leave our bags while we continued our sightseeing for the day and that was a great perk. The location was excellent to places that you could walk within a mile or two.
