"Great hotel in the San Polo area, close to everything "

"The room was very clean. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful."

"Clean room, the lady on reception was so welcoming and allowed us to leave our bags as we had a later flight. Great location as it's about 20 minutes walk to the centre. Only thing I would say is bring portable chargers as we only had one plug socket in the bathroom."

"Lovely hotel, previously stayed when it was Lacanda san Barnaba and the upgrade is really great, whilst still keeping the originsl ceiling frescos and other features. Great new updsted bathrooms. Great communal areas as well as fab breakfast. Only slight niggle was not much hanging space and no drawers but easily manageable. Overall a great stay"

"La habitación estaba limpia y era muy acogedora, Mario y esmeralda son de los mejores anfitriones que hemos tenido, sin duda alguna gente muy atenta y abierta en ayudar a los huéspedes, el desayuno era continental como su nombre lo indica era sencillo pero agradable y suficiente, me llevo una muy grata experiencia por el hospedaje y en general de la ciudad de Venecia , recomiendo si la van a visitar hospedarse con Mario y esmeralda. Espero regresa en un futuro."

"Property location is great. Much calmer area away from the tourist, yet close enough to walk everywhere. Great restaurants in the area. Rooms are great, but noisy. stuff wasn't as friendly and as welcoming."

"This is a really great property in an amazing location. We had the Magnolia apartment and the living room and bedrooms are huge. The palazzo is beautifully restored and it is such a comfortable place. We were able to get a water taxi directly to and from so no dragging luggage around Venice. I highly recommend staying here. "

"The room was nice and the bed was comfy. It was a smaller room but that’s what you’d expect in Venice. The location was amazing. There’s a restaurant and bar/cafe right outside and both were fantastic. For the restaurant- get the seafood spaghetti if you really want to taste Venice. The staff were great and very welcoming. One tip - bring Euro in cash to pay the city tax. Overall a great stay and we loved our time in Venice!"

"The hotel is a former Palazzo. Everything about it is impeccable. The staff knows you by name. The food is excellent. The location is perfect, far enough away from the crowds but close enough that everything is within walking distance would definitely stay there again when I go back to (Venice)"

"My stay in Venice was truly magical and unlike anywhere else I’ve been. The city feels like stepping into a painting, with canals instead of streets, beautiful bridges, and historic buildings everywhere you look. The accommodation was comfortable and well-located, making it easy to explore the main attractions on foot or by water taxi. Waking up to views of the canals and watching gondolas pass by was one of the highlights of the trip."

"This place is in a great location. The bed was very comfortable and the place was very clean except we did have bit of a musty smell but it was not terrible and we left the window open and it helped. Staff were great and check in was easy. We didn't know that it included a free breakfast because it wasn't mentioned when we booked so we missed it the first day - no problem it's not a game changer. Overall, we really liked this place and would recommend it."

"The hotel is brand new, location is super nice, on the rialto bridge. Hotel stuff very nice, room very good, vier from the bar on the rooftop is amazing"
