"Before our arrival, we only received Expedia confirmation, which did not include direct contact info with owner. I messaged owner via Expedia app, the day before but no reply. We were supposed to receive check in instructions day(s) before. We arrived extra early to find the apartment and tried calling owner. Luckily, owner understood we were early and at apartment, so sent her husband to greet us. He spoke enough english to explain things and gave us tips on seeing Matera. Thank goodness...

"Não havia estacionamento fácil gratuito ao redor do estabelecimento, como informado no anúncio. Tive que pagar por um estacionamento próximo ao local, cerca de 10 euros por dia. Os quartos são para casal, pois se viajar com amigos, o chuveiro instalado no quarto, fora do banheiro, de vidro, por certo criará constrangimentos."
