Khách sạn Bassingham

"Room was bright and clean. Breakfast was fine. Location was good. Unfortunately there was an awful damp smell from the bathroom that permeated the whole bedroom. I was only there for a night so i didn't complain, but it's in need of some maintenance."

"Good food and drink at the pub that is separate from the accommodation. Slight problem on check in as they had given us a double room instead of a twin, despite sending an email prior to arrival requesting a twin. Staff shortages meant it was a while before the bed situation was sorted but we were in the bar by then so not really an issue. The receptionist was apologetic and keen to resolve the issue so bonus points to her."

"Perfect 2 night stay with my family. Room was comfortable and clean. Plenty choice for breakfast. Great location to explore the city."

"A very friendly welcome and staff were always ready to help my partially disabled wife. The meals were excellent and well planned. The hotel was very welcoming and felt homely with such Georgian/ Victorian style ."

"Could not stay in our room during the evening as a very noisy party was taking place downstairs. We were not prepared of the function, but staff did attempt to get the noise reduced, and offered us a complimentary drink in the bar. This however meant we could not use our room, or get an early night. A pity, as otherwise good value and good food."

"Helpful friendly staff"

"The room opens directly onto the carpark, which was great as it made it easy to unload/load the car, also we could keep the door open so cool down the room (it was hot when we stayed). The staff were friendly and helpfully. Each nigh we were asked to prebook our breakfast, stating what time we wanted it, the following morning the breakfast was waiting for us perfectly cooked."

"The duvet cover was not fresh, I called the dedicated telephone line at 19.26 to request a fresh duvet cover or at least a bed sheet to cover it, an hour and a half later after a series of phone calls back and forward I was told that nothing can be done. The property is unsupervised and there's no way to contact management in the evening and a telephone assistant is not based in the UK. The room is tired, the classes in the bathroom are not clean, bedding needs to be undated, a door stopper is...

"The hotel is in a good location and nearby are loads of places to eat The disappointing thinks we're prior to booking I mentioned my wife had a disability and would needs walk in shower When I went to check in that had not been actioned and had to be moved The room for someone with a disability was so far from reception a long walk The room itself was like a prison cell 1 small window you could not opening to get some air into the room"

"Great place to stay, extremely clean, lovely lake for fishing, great hot tub.The lodge had everything needed for a lovely family break. Would love to stay again in the future. Highly recommend."

"We cant praise this place enough. The welcome, the room, the decor, and the food. It was absolutely first class. We only stayed one night but it was faultless. We would unquestionably stay here again."

"What a gem Creston Villa is! Thanks to Anna and Iain who made our stay a real home from home. From the breakfast with lots of choice, including so many jams, marmalades and relishes to homemade cookies to take with us for a later treat. We loved everything and we didn’t need to know anything about Lincoln before our trip, we could’ve learned it all at breakfast! Great location, easy walk into town or use the local bus service from just outside the property. Highly recommend. Thank you x"

"The room was clean as was the bathroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good"

"Room was clean, bed was comfy, parking was easy and checking in was simple. Would happily stay again."
