"Absolutely stunning hotel (a former school), set in acres of countryside Rooms are good sized, well equipped, and the en-suites are great. Staff are very helpful and polite One point - cooked breakfasts on my 2x mornings did take a while (40-45 minutes) - so just leave yourself enough time, just in case Overall, I'll definitely go back"

"The current owners have only had the property a short while hence my poor comment on decor and maintenance. They are renovating the property however the staff were very polite and helpful. Our en-suite rooms although dated were clean. The beds and bedding were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, ample choice only negative comment I can say is ceramic mugs/cups would be nicer than the ones provided. We wish them every success."

A special mention goes to Rachel at the bar, who was friendly, professional, and made our evenings enjoyable with her warm conversation. First night was what can only be described as a heard of elephants trying to jump into our room, very creaky floorboards and can hear everything through walls.
