"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do. "Everything was first class, from the check in at reception, to the splendid room. To the Bar and restaurant and then the ease of parking and check out!! Clean, tidy and efficient and at a great location for access to local shops and easy access in and out to the A38 Plymouth Parkway!! Will definitely be staying there again!! They could however improve the beds. They need replacing with more modern ones like other hotels already have done."

"Only issue that I can mention was the fact there was no one at the pool reception when we went for our first swim. A guest had to show me how to access. Consequently I went into the members changing room then when I eventually spoke to a girl she informed me I should not be there but to go to the other changing room. Had to ask for a tag. 2nd day no problem and helpful staff. Breakfast amazing It was my birthday and they gave me a little gift. Will definitely be going back"

"Stayed on the third floor, small room, plenty of space, the room was clean with no damage, shower worked great. There was a fan in there which is helpful in the summer, didn’t have any noise complaints to make. Only stayed for one night so can’t come in on much else, the room key can be used for the front door when reception is closed after 10 pm and be aware that the keys go in the door horizontal rather than vertical and they also turn anticlockwise which takes some getting used to. Overall, very happy with my stay and I would stay here again."
