We loved our stay here! It was the first time we came as a family to the Keys. We were here during the 7 mile bridge run and that turned out to be a really great thing since two of the people in our group were running the race. Faro Blanco Resort Marathon Florida Keys, Curio by Hilton
Poolside was nice and you can get food there. There are 2 pools. There is no beach. Many of the staff are foreign born but their English is good enough that they are able to assist you.

Sugarloaf Key Hotel at KOA Resort
Stayed in one of the apartments. Good location if key west accommodation is too pricy or unavailable - approx 25min drive. Nice pool, jacuzzi and bar set-up. Only negative was very uncomfortable mattress on sofa bed.
