"This is a beautiful hotel in all aspects! The breakfast was the nicest hotel I have had in a long while and I travel alot!! Perfectly situated for the coast, we visited Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay and whitby; and for York and Harrogate. Their website states that breakfast is made to order and I recall seeing it on the expedia page but then was notified a day before about where to go for food instead. "Had a great stay here. Fabulous location as I was attending an event next door. Located next to multistorey car park and reduced price when staying at the hotel. 15/20 min walk into the city centre. Room was spotless and bed was comfortable. Very impressed with the free breakfast and an option to take away with a grab bag. All staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. Will stay here again if I need to attend another event here."

"Enjoyed the stay but it was noisy trying to get to sleep in the cottage room and I’m curious as to why there were only 9 loungers in the spa but there are 60 bedrooms ? I had to sit on a chair .. not really the spa experience I was looking for. Also another gripe of mine is no full length mirrors in bedrooms ? And no table near a mirror to sit and dry hair and do makeup ? It’s the little things that make all the difference."
