"Friendly and helpful staff throughout the stay, from reception to brasserie to bar staff. The food prepared for the wake was delicious, and very welcome after the service at the nearby crematorium. Didn't try the breakfast as had to rush off for another appointment, but if it is anything like lunch the previous day, it would have been lovely"

"Great parking. Near to the city. Easy check in and very welcoming but our room was tired and the bathroom was not very clean. The bedding and towels were clean but I thought that one pillow per person wasn’t sufficient. Biscuits in the room was a nice touch."

"Accessible room. We love the spacious room with a fridge (so useful for some medication). The room was clean and stocked with basic tea, coffee and milk. The bed is a double. We would prefer a king-size but there would be less space around the bed. The mattress was very soft and not supportive. It was awkward, as people with reduced mobility, to sit on the side of the bed...my partner slid off. Also the bedside tables are tiny. "Rooms are on 2 different levels so very quiet. We stayed in room 2 which was lovely, with tea & coffee etc and very welcome biscuits. No need to bring shower products as they are all provided.
Breakfast was excellent with a choice of items (ordered the night before). The fruit salad was fab & I can highly recommend the omelette! My husband had the full English, which he really enjoyed. Offered more tea/coffee & toast.
The hosts Jane & Mark were lovely and very helpful regarding the local area...
