"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at the ibis Styles Birmingham Centre for one night and, considering we only paid £46.69, we were genuinely impressed. The reception area was clean, spacious and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They showed us where we were on a map and pointed out nearby attractions, including directions to the Utilita Arena where we were attending an event. "it was incredibly clean, it was exactly what i wanted. i needed somewhere with a large fridge and a microwave to heat up food and store all the drinks needed for this kind of weather. the only downside for me personally was the tv didn't have all of the popular streaming apps on the interface and the chromecast feature was a bit glitchy."

"Unfortunately we were put in a room that faces the road where there are ongoing roadworks. These went on all through the night, we gave up at 7 am and went for breakfast then headed straight home. The lorries were constantly back and forth with reversing alarms going. I have complained to premier inn but they accept no responsibility for placing guests in rooms while this work continues. "The room and bathroom were clean. The bathroom was poorly planned and difficult to use. There was no shower enclosure or demarkation (even a sill or ledge on the floor to keep the water somewhat contained would have been helpful). The rainhead shower and the shower wand sprayed the entire room. There are no hooks to hang up your towels. The bathroom is small and the lighting is dim. "I really like this place. THe only negative was that there is no USB port in the room, or anywhere in the carpark to charge an electric vehicle. Parking is easy and plentiful. Breakfast is great.
