"this was our 2nd visit and we enjoyed the location in Pietermaai, this time we had a room with city view, which was a bit more noisy with the traffic then we thought. beach side is nice, pool and ocean for a swim."

"The room was clean and basic. We were there basically just to sleep & shower so for that it was fine. However the standard room is very small with no view/balcony area (nowhere to hang wet clothing). However i feel like the staff wasn’t very helpful when we got there. The week of arrival, I had to do an “online check in” for “faster” check in however when we got there the room was not ready for the 3pm check in time. I asked around 3:30 and the guy at front desk wasn’t saying anything just that...

"Stayed in The Ivy. Booked a 1 bedroom apartment but was given a 2 bedroom apartment upon check-in. Loved the extra space ! Apartment was beautiful and clean. Kitchen was stocked with all things needed to cook/bake. Balcony was spacious. Online pictures are accurate to in person sights. If traveling from US bring power adapter or ask front desk to borrow one. One suggestion would be to have long mirrors in apartment. Was unable to get a complete look of outfit after getting dressed. "Nos gustó bastante la instalación, las piscinas les falta un poquito de mantenimiento, limpieza. Los trabajadores súper atentos y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. La infraestructura del hotel nos gustó, algo diferente. Muy buena ubicación, cerca del centro y de las calles principales, tranquilo y realmente especial para ir en pareja. Tuvimos una feliz estancia en la instalación."

"Where we atayed was great, however the doors were shutters which had a gap for insects and rodent to easily enter. We have a phobia so we reached out to the staff and immediately we were upgraded to the IVY apartment which was amazing. Only thing is the stove didn't work and there no microwave so we used the oven to warm food. The staff were amazing. The property is well kept and beautiful. Would recommend."
