"Great property close to the train station that is connected to the ExCel center (trains, not the hotel). The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and the staff goes above and beyond! My room was large with a huge window seat where I could relax, get work done or just read a book while enjoying the view. Was a tad sad about technical difficulties while attempting to use WiFi (& I did let Alex know this too & he attempted to correct issue, to no avail) & inability to access thermostat (building's historic with no built-in temperature unit), I'd DEFINITELY still recommend it, as it's very comparable for the price!"

"Staff were helpful and friendly but I had to wait nearly an hour for them to check that the tv in my room wasn't working. Terrible that each room only has 2 cups and 2 tsp. Extras had to be requested and I was given a cracked glass and a dirty knife. I was too tired and fed up to complain by that point. Rooms remind me of a student bedsit. Pool and sauna were nice I had a terrible night sleep bc I could hear the DLR trains and also humming from fridge."
