"Lovely hotel"

"We stayed in a king suite with a kitchen area. The room was spacious and very well equipped, however the stand out feature of this property are the staff who are excellent. We were warmly greeted by all staff during our stay including a pre arrival phone call the day before. This property is in a great location for the city centre with parking at the rear for an additional cost. I’d recommend booking here for your stay in Newcastle!"

"The room looked like a hospital room that was under renovation. The beds were also very uncomfortable - you could actually feel the springs in the mattress. "

"We just had a standard double room, I was suprised how nice it was for the price. The hotel itself is lovely, such a beautiful place. There are a few animals outside to feed, an outdoor bar area. The bar inside is great and reasonably priced. The food is AMAXING "

"If you’re disabled or just an older guest beware the rooms have not been reviewed by an appropriate person. I found the bathroom a death trap. No grab rails in the shower but the worst was the slippery floor in the toilet with nothing to grab onto when struggling to arise from the toilet. My husband had to help me but not before on making an attempt my feet slipped and I finished up with a nasty fall and a now painful back. At 2am I had to ring reception I was frozen- the radiator didn’t work...

"Gross smelly room"

"The room was clean and tidy, warm throughout the night which was comfortable. The one thing that was annoying was there was an inch gap under the door which the hall light shone in under the door the whole night."

"Nice spacious and very clean room. Well facilitated with a tea tray and bottles of water. Room was immensely hot but thankfully able to open all the windows. Liked fresh cooked breakfast (as opposed to usual buffets) however I would love to see a better drinkable coffee being served and a little gripe - after requesting hard poached egg with no ‘snot’ my egg was totally snotty when I cut it and ran into my breakfast so didn’t eat much. But all in all a very pleasant stay and reasonable value for...
