"Room clean and ideal for 1 night stay. No towels in bathroom but didn’t really affect us"

"The hotel ticked all the boxes and was just the job. The decor in the room needed a bit of TLC and the windows needed repair or replacement. The staff however were great, really helpful, attentive and considerate."

"Unfortunately for us we arrived later in day and upon returning to our room later that night we found our bed was unclean.Also we had opened wardrobes to look for more pillows to find the previous visitors used socks. Staff were helpful in moving room but not ideal circumstances."

"Arrived and checked in quickly. Efficient young chap did all the preliminaries and we headed to our room. Room was in the main building at the front. Large room with plenty of wall lights and lamps as well as spot lights. Lovely sized room and bathroom. Plenty of boiling hot water as soon as the tap was turned. Beds were clean and very comfy. "The restaurant was great. Was a good place to stay for a function. You pay for what you get. Was not expecting a lot for £65.00 pounds. Very old facility so also can not expect a lot. Unfortunately our TV did not work well as we tried to unwind for the day, and the toilet would not flush. I would still give it another go to stay."

"Property very tired but clean, only food on site McDonalds. Leaving site to get in and out of Sutton Scotney a driving nightmare. Fortunately staff have prepared written direction instructions to help or else you end up on A34"

"We had a two night stay here for our anniversary. Cannot fault anything. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was a great experience lots of choices from cold and hot options. Lovely garden to sit and relax. Had a lovely walk along the canal. Overall a great experience. "

"On arrival, there was nobody on the reception desk, and after waiting for a short while we had to go and find a staff member to check us in. The rooms whilst dated were clean and comfortable. Having booked a dinner bed and breakfast rate, we were disappointed to find that the dinner options were very limited, due to the hotel being refurbished according to a staff member. "It was very well presented in all aspects. The kitchen staff were good and helpful. The reception staff were well dressed and presented themselves very professionally rooms were very neat and clean. Would come again when visiting my mother everything is nearby."
