"Fantastic pet friendly hotel, amazing food, great walks outside, great extras, love the pantry’s and the boots for free hire, the games in the lounge and the free night cap, to be super picky the only complain I could have is the outside hot tubs need a good clean and sadly while I was their only one was working which may be the reason for the tub needing cleaning due to over use. But it still gets 5 stars from me as the rest was stellar quality. "

"Beautiful property. A bit of a rabbit warren but delightful to see the original features and feel the age of the building. Comfortable room and excellent bathroom facilities. Breakfast had most of what you would expect, I would like more fresh salad available. We especially enjoyed the walking route provided by the hotel, really lovely to get out and about in the grounds. "

"Lovely rooms geat value for money. Food was lovely. Bar staff could have been better, didnt have any prosecco in fridge and didbt seem to want to use initiative to solve the issue with ice bucket and ice also told us we could finish our drinks outside at end of night - weird. "

"The hotel itself was great however the restaurant really let itself down. It was New Years Eve and understandably busy however we were left with empty drinks for thirty minuets and a number of other issues. I would love to stay at the hotel again because that side of it was gorgeous and well organised but I would not return to the restaurant!"

"The staff were great, the rooms were clean & comfortable and the food (dinner and breakfast) was very good. To make it even better, it was only 1 mile away from where i had to go with work. Great stay and will definitely stay at this hotel again when in the area next."

"Stayed overnight for a wedding near by. A lovely welcome from the receptionist. Easy check in and a fantastic room. The room was clean, tidy and well decorated with lots of retro items. A well stocked hamper for those that are tempted with treats. The breakfast was delicious, I tried the full breakfast on a skillet with fresh orange juice and a filter coffee. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. "
