"Really good location but most businesses around close before 4pm including restaurants"

"Nice hotel"

"Good location and view over the Brisbane River."

"Clean and friendly"

"We choose to clean our own room to reduce the price. We were out most of the time so was perfect for us. They did change the beds after 7 nights and could get fresh towels and anything else we needed from reception. Very good idea. The pool area was ok but quite dated. The lane swim pool was out through the car park and uninviting. Location was great near to everything. The balcony was enclosed and felt very strange."

"The secured parking spot was very helpful in Southbank. It wasn’t a big 1 bedroom self-contained unit, but it was enough space for 2 people."

"Although the apartment was fine, unfortunately the same building is been used for social housing. It was very noisy at night due to parties and other disruption. We had to evacuate the building at 530AM when somebody under the influence set off fire extinguishers and fire alarms. The fire service and the police were called. Also be aware, the reception is only open between 9AM and 5PM. If arriving after 5PM, you must have been in contact with reception, emailed your identification document and...

"It was good"

"Convenient, sufficient equipment for a group of family member. Beautiful view, good position at CBD. "

"Check in just before midnight after international flight was wonderful, quick, clear and prepared. Beds lovely and comfortable."

"lOVED MY STAY"

"The studio apartment itself was great - very spacious, very well-equipped and exceptionally clean. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The check in process was easy and straightforward. The location is good, being very close to Woolloongaba restaurants/eateries and an easy 18 minute walk to South Bank. Buses also run continuously to South Bank from the Mater Bus Station. The only negative thing I should mention, is that it is very noisy with constant traffic noise, sirens and helicopters,...

"The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They say what they mean and they mean what they say. Excellent stay!"

"I would rate The Ridge as ordinary. The room we had was tired and in need of a bit of care and attention. The towel rack on the back of the bathroom door was just about detached from the door. The front panel of a drawer in a cabinet in the main room looked as if it had been pulled off and not properly replaced. The building is also very noisy with loud traffic all night and (rubbish) trucks early in the morning. All in all nothing to be we could have done better."

"Our room was not cleaned properly with several cockroaches and broken glass in the outside area. The worst thing was a very bad odour that resulted in us changing rooms. The new room was clean and comfortable. However, we left some possessions behind in the move. These were apparently ‘thrown out’ by housekeeping without any attempt to return them. Would never stay here again."
