"What a gorgeous place. Very quiet with lovely grounds for walking. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Room was at the top of the castle and was very spacious. Food was delicious and even had room service one evening. Would recommend this break."

"The restaurant next door was lovely for a quick bite. The room and hotel were great and a good location for our needs. The staff was excellent. The only thing we found that could have been better was our shower head was leaking sideways and was impossible to keep it from creating a tiny river on the bathroom floor. "Good location and rooms good side with filter coffee and chocolate bars available. Breakfast was also really good along with ample parking. Check in was a bit odd with rooms and building unlocked and no food served on Tuesdays. Side saves were also dusty and staff unsure if breakfast was included which delayed my departure."

"Very lovely for a quick stay, all the essentials and reasonably priced. Staff was very polite."

"Staff were attentive and incredibly friendly! The food was amazing and the property very well maintained and so beautiful!"

"We absolutely loved this hotel. Location was fantastic for walking, staff were friendly, food and beer were great, and our room and shared spaces were fantastic. Would absolutely stay here again."

"Highly recommend for who loves the Old Town vibe!"

"This is hands down the best stay I have ever experienced . My entire family loved it. We did the falconry and enjoyed all the food. The room and property was gorgeous and the staff so incredible"

"Great rooms, amazing historical aesthetic and atmosphere. Staff were very helpful and kind. Food was great. No lifts, so plan to take your bags up flights of stairs. EV chargers sometimes get stuck, but hotel has response teams on standby to help right away."

"Loved this hidden gem of a hotel in the heart of Edinburgh! Easy to walk to all the sites and neighborhoods. Well thought out rooms - so many great design details and amenities. Staff were very helpful and loved the lounge/restaurant on the top floor!"

"This was a cute little studio apartment. Restaurant right next door provides breakfast and lunch. Great location near the train station and right in Old Town. Within walking distance of everything."

"We stayed here for our 3 days in Edinburgh. We walked to most main attractions from this location. It was a bit out of the central area so it was nice and quiet but a further walk each day in order to get most places, but definitely do able. Rooms were very large, restaurant was excellent."
