"Room was clean and a great size. Staff was so friendly. Loved that each night they left a postcard and mints and if you weren't in the room they'd turn on lights so you don't come back to a dark room. I was close to the pool and took full advantage. Beach was also close with a restaurant, beach bar and playground. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family. Also loved the welcome drink. "Property appears to have undergone minor updates. It is located on a busy street that you can hear everything that goes by. Across a cemetery, it is walking distance to Otrobanda's tourist area and main Cruise port. Upside is that it is close to a local supermarket and has parking via the back alley. Regardless of the request weather it was bottle water for the room, clean towels, or just plain toilet tissue it was at least a three to four hour wait if the request was fulfilled at all. "Our stay at Pietermaai Oasis was wonderful, with a poolside room. The room itself was pretty basic but had everything you would need if the whole point of your trip is to be out exploring the amazing island the entire day, as was ours. A small kitchenette with a convection stove, pots, pans and utensils is a great feature of the room if that’s your thing. "Stayed here on our last day before flying home. Arrived before noon after checking out of another accommodation. We were prepared to have them hold our bags until our room was ready. Kenedra (sorry don’t remember her name exactly) at the front desk was amazing. She offered us an upgrade and let us check in immediately. We hung out at the pool for the afternoon. "Lovely renovated historic hotel right on the ocean in Pietermaai district of Willemstad. It was in a quieter area only 1 street over from great bars and restaurants. Our room overlooked the ocean, and there was a small private beach with lounge chairs. The staff was amazing, and helped us with airport taxi and recommendations in the area. Short walking distance (10 min) to the heart of Punda and 15 min to the floating bridge. "
