"The Riffle Volunteer, is a lovely old English Pub, The Manager, and The Staff, are Fantastic!! And went above and beyond. The Rooms are Clean, but basic and could do with a
lick of paint to freshen their up. But apart from
that it's a charming little tradition pub. The outside garden is lovely, and there is parking, but it's a small car park.
But i loved it.

"The pub abd the associated guest rooms are excellent. The area is quiet and peaceful, with easy access to the A10 routes to London or Cambridge. The local town of Ware is a gem for dining and shopping."
"This was very much a last minute job, we were travelling home from 2 days in that London and were worn-out. This was in fact the only place we could find that wasn't either booked up or cost outrageous money. Although, the directions link on the Expedia app took us to the middle of nowhere so we had to phone the lovely people at the hotel for help. When we got there we were surprised it was a much bigger and better place than we expected. Would definitely go again."
"Close proximity to the train station which was essential for our onward travel to Stansted .
The staff were friendly , the rooms, although slightly dated , were spotless & the bed comfortable.
The location was really pretty being on the River Stort . We made use of the onsite cafe / bar. then took an evening stroll along the river bank .
It would have suited us to have breakfast
in the cafe but it was closed the following morning for a deep clean , which just shows
cleanliness of the place...

"Close to motorway but tucked away from any noise. Large car park, large pub and lots of amenities on your doorstep.
Limited Internet was my only problem but it may have been due to the storm."
"Super modern in a contemporary style. Lots of beautiful interior touches. Lovely staff. Massive bed. Oozes character. Great value for money. Booked after a days activity at Lea valley - close and easy to get to from hotel in car. Short drive to Waltham cross station if you fancy getting a train a couple of stops into Stratford for shopping. Would visit again. Thanks"
"After a brutal day of traveling in from Canada, delayed flights, missed connections and hours of transit commutes around london, I ended up at this lovely spot. I couldn't have asked for a better ending after a day of hell. The pub is adorable, food amazing, staff incredibly helpful and friendly, and the room spacious, clean and cozy. I would hands down recommend it and will be making it a staple in future travels. Thank you!"
"Lovely area - Harlow Park. The property has a beautiful well- kept garden. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere in the house was homely. Food and drink available to buy and prepare on site in the well- eqipped kitchen. Books and board games galore. "
"We stayed here for one night whilst visiting family. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced. The bedrooms were comfortable with large comfy bed and lovely shower room. Breakfast was first class.
We are seasoned travellers and it is possibly one of the best hotels we have stayed in for the price."
