"The room was spacious, perfect for two people. The bathroom was also big and cormfortable with a hairdryer. You're surrounded by nature and can see many bords from the balcony while having breakfast from your room. My only two criticisms are, first that the pillows available are too thick, second is that the wifi didn't always work properly in the evening. "

"Bauma is a beautiful place to stay. It’s located on a quiet side street, but still close to restaurants/walking area. It’s within 20-30 min from many of the popular hiking activities. The room itself is very thoughtfully put together so you have everything you need (microwave, fridge, utensils, hot plate, coffee pot, robes, etc.). The bathroom is amazing. The patio and balcony offer nice outdoor relaxing spots. The grounds are covered with beautiful flowering plants. This is a 10/10 place to...

"The location for this hotel was great. There is a good soda around the corner and the coffee/chocolate tour down the road is worth going to. Breakfast was great. There is lots of safe parking. That being said the room was just a room with a very hard noisy bed. There was wifi and A/c. We had an ant problem in our room. There are no toiletries or hot water. With all of the hotel options in the area I would probably choose a different hotel next time. "

"Property was nice, exceeded expectations. Rooms were cute with each room separate cabins. Property is smaller than it looks in the pictures, and is a bit towered over by a hotel next door. Direct view of volcano. Restaurant was beautiful with lots of birds. Breakfast was great (didn’t try any other meals there). Hot springs were much nicer than in the pictures. "

"This home was exactly what we needed, close to downtown La Fortuna yet away from the noise. The house has 2 bedrooms with doble beds and TV’s and one loft with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has hot/cold water and the host provides shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, a cooktop as well as the basics you need to make meals if you choose to cook. The washer and dryer were very convenient. "The rooms were nice and cozy own privacy as the rooms were seperated from other guests rooms. The staff was wonderful and very attentive in room upkeep as well as recommending activities to do. You also, get to see wildlife nearby which makes it more relaxing. Overall great experience!"
