"We have stayed at the Hopping Hare a few times. It is a great pub, the food is very good, and the staff are very helpful. We would recommend the Hopping Hare to anyone. Only down side is getting to the rooms can be a little tricky - narrow passage ways and stairs."

"Stayed recently with a couple of friends. Had the best weekend, great central location. 5star breakfast fantastic selection. Amazing staff, extremely friendly and welcoming. Booked up to stay again. Would definitely recommend. "

"Lovely property with good parking, well designed and decor was pleasant. Room was spacious and clean. Food was excellent. Young staff were polite and tried to be helpful but really need some more training in finer etiquette but not their fault. No finger bowls for shelled prawns, Rose wine not chilled enough and was poured into glasses before the bottle and glasses were brought to the table. However the food was excellent although you might struggle if you had gluten dietary issues."
