- Mandatory “Urban Experience Fee” of $30 + tax per night was not disclosed prior to booking - Room was not cleaned (for a day) despite no DND sign and leaving in the morning - Room service knocked loudly at 8:30am (another day) and woke us up - Hotel ran out of bottled water - Window’s screw came ...

The Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown
This hotel is always a nice spot. My go-to in Chicago. It is consistently clean, the food selection at Hoyt’s is great and Juan is a wonderful server there. I typically arrive late but my room is always ready and I have no issues with amenities or location in the city. Love Royal Sonesta
