"Good central location and friendly, helpful staff. A large Victorian building that is probably very expensive to maintain in good condition. My standard room was clean but needed a refresh, especially the moth-eaten carpet. The moths were visible."

I needed to keep some food items refrigerated and frozen, they were very accommodating and kept my food in their refrigerator and freezer. The only thing I’m not a fan of, is the way the shower was designed. It’s a bit difficult to open the shower door with the floor mat. Overall, I love staying here and their breakfast option, while not complimentary is always good!"

"One of the highlights of our Northumberland road trip, Langley Castle felt like such a treat, packed with character, history and atmosphere. We ate really well, and there’s something magical about waking up in the grounds of a centuries old castle; it made the whole stay feel genuinely memorable and special. The only small downside for us was accessibility. My mother has limited mobility and found the stairs difficult, so we used the service lift to reach the drawing room. Even so, in a six hundred year old castle you can only expect so much, and the team were helpful when we needed a bit of extra support whicih made it even more fun. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it. Thankyou!! "
