I was put in a room on the top floor in which the air conditioning was completely ineffective blowing out warm air. The Hotel is very tired (including the air conditioning system). "There’s a strange way of getting to some of the rooms where you have to go downstairs before eventually climbing back up. The hotel itself is very well maintained although I’d wonder if the golf course sometimes takes a little of the priority."

"The hotel is in an excellent position, just off a main road, but on a quiet lane. 15 mins walk in to town. Rooms are modern with aircon, tea, coffee etc. What really makes the hotel excellent is the staff, from the cleaners, bar staff, receptionist, they were so genuinely helpful and friendly. We had a lovely stay, thank you."

"I cannot leave more than 2 stars because there is no on-site coin laundry machine, and none in walking distance. Staff was excellent; my room didn't have a mini-fridge, but they were willing to let me put food into their private one in staff break room. Room #16 had no WIFI signal reception (The closest AP is about 60m away). Long term luggage storage service available on site via Stasher"

"Was a nice place as it a golf club and spa thought it would be quite but our weekend they had a load of kit sport cars and on both Saturday and Sunday there where outside reviving the car engine from 6 :30 in the morning so wasn’t relaxing at all which was a shame cos it was beautiful hotel and grounds"

"I stayed on the eve of the Norfolk show when every hotel in Norwich is booked solid. St Giles had a very expensive room left and I was forced to take it as I was in Norwich for work. The hotel is housed in a lovely building with an impossible to find, “on-site” car park (which they charge an extra £10 for!!) "We were four adults sharing one room, and unfortunately, the space didn't match what was shown on the website. The room felt cramped, with the beds taking up nearly all available floor space. "Radiator not working so room was cold, tap on bath rattling and water spurting out took ages to fill bath. Shared room with a dozen ladybirds..canteen downstairs never open. Unlocked and unsafe left luggage hall.i came fownstairs a few times about radiator in the night and noonf on reception rang number on desk but it wasnt regonised. Reception not manned at all times.. the room was big and lovely and location good."
