"I originally booked my stay at the Rising Sun Inn because I was in the area to see Van Morrison. What I didn't expect was how much I'd enjoy everything else the hotel has to offer. The inn was comfortable, welcoming, and a great base for exploring the beautiful countryside. "We had a wonderful one-night stay. We had a double room with ensuite, which perfectly suited our family of three. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and were great with our young daughter. There is plenty of parking and the pub itself is gorgeous and full of character. The breakfast was incredible - had the Full English, which was so tasty, and there were lots of continental and lighter options too. It’s an absolute gem of a place, and one we’ll definitely return to."

"A beautiful shiny new hotel with well thought through design and such aesthetic decor. The staff were helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The roof top bar was a definite plus, with fab views, it just made the weekend for me and my friend who had a long overdue catch up. So close to the station, an easy weekend away."

"The best part of our stay was the food in the restaurant. It was exceptional. The worst part was the 38 steps up to our top floor room and the quarter mile walk to the car park. The bed was comfortable, the Nespresso coffee maker was nice and the shower was just OK, having only a rain head and no wand. The bar is great for what’s on the bar menu but lame for US cocktails. For instance, the bartender didn’t know what either a manhattan or Rob Roy was."

"The Bell is a beautiful old building and our room was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The view from the room was amazing. Access was through a separate door to the pub, so we didn't have to be back before the pub closed and could access the room any time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakasts were delicious and lots of choice on the menu. Lovely pub dog too! We would definitely stay here again."
