"The rooms were clean but needed upgrades, tv was old and had two black lines in the middle. No food variety and most of it was tasteless. Beach was awesome. We found great people like Juriel and DJ Kalusha as well as the great ladies that clean the rooms and front desk. Bar was missing mezcalitas!. Sophia at the fish spa was awesome!!! "Casa Mexicana is my Cozumel "home"! We know most of the staff by name as we've stayed year for decades! I've had special birthday surprises in my room and I say the best hand-shaken, fresh margaritas at the pool bar!! Can't wait to see them all again in a couple months!"

"The staff and restaurant were great. The hotel was clean, rustic and a dive resort. Great amenities for that. My only complaint is one of the main roads is right next to the resort. I mean right there. The road noise was at times very very loud. Not sure who drives the unmuffled motorcycle at 3 am most morning but ugh! The sunset views from our patio were awesome. Best part…no cruise piers in your line of sight. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"There were 4 rooms for us on the trip. One party had to change rooms twice and another twice due to a/c outages, leaking a/c and bugs. Staff moved us in the middle of the night, with no directions. Management was nearly impossible to speak with, causing us to miss majority of a day because we were told to just wait and keep checking for them to come back. If you're not in a couple, staff ignores you and excludes you from your party. Repeatedly asking the group to go do things leaving the single...
