"There were 4 rooms for us on the trip. One party had to change rooms twice and another twice due to a/c outages, leaking a/c and bugs. Staff moved us in the middle of the night, with no directions. Management was nearly impossible to speak with, causing us to miss majority of a day because we were told to just wait and keep checking for them to come back. "The property owner was very unresponsive. It was missing a few important amenities, which we then purchased under our own cost. Although the owner promised that we will be reimbursed for the cost, no actual reimbursement was given. There were water leakage in multiple spot which the owner failed to provide any solutions on. "The staff and restaurant were great. The hotel was clean, rustic and a dive resort. Great amenities for that. My only complaint is one of the main roads is right next to the resort. I mean right there. The road noise was at times very very loud. Not sure who drives the unmuffled motorcycle at 3 am most morning but ugh! The sunset views from our patio were awesome. Best part…no cruise piers in your line of sight. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"The rooms were clean but needed upgrades, tv was old and had two black lines in the middle. No food variety and most of it was tasteless. Beach was awesome. We found great people like Juriel and DJ Kalusha as well as the great ladies that clean the rooms and front desk. Bar was missing mezcalitas!. Sophia at the fish spa was awesome!!! We really enjoyed it!"

"Hotel needs maintenance by the pool area. A lot of ties missing and pavers were replaced by cement patches. Pretty weak I thought. Stair areas were very dirty. Food wasn’t bad. Rooms were clean and so were the bathrooms."

"Amazing hotel, with an amazing staff. I have never stayed at a hotel where the entire staff was so helpful, accommodating, pleasant and friendly. My room was on the 4th floor and had a terrific view of the pier where the cruise ships came in, but was just far enough away so as not to be inundated with ship passengers.
