"Mixed feelings about this stay. The inside of my room was clean and modern, obviously recently redone. The outside is a state; security lights hanging off the wall and tatty and actually it doesn’t feel all that safe walking around in the dark. I don’t know why they put solo female travellers as far away from reception as possible. The bed wasn’t as comfortable as I had hoped and noise travels between rooms. "Excellent hotel and reasonably priced. A good breakfast the only downside was the shower needed the mould addressing. I think that will be seen to in the near future. Superb central location. I’d go back anytime."

"Hotel was lovely looking and the room was nice too. However, we paid a rate that was supposed to include breakfast. When we went down for breakfast we were told that the chef wasn’t in work that day so the only things available was panini or toasties out of the coffee room. The food looked like it had been there for ages and I paid for an actual breakfast. We weren’t told there was no chef until we went down for the meal. I feel we should have been charged less as at no point were we told that...

"The room was very nice, although the bed comprised of two singles pushed together which was a little uncomfortable. The shower doors left a gap at the bottom which meant the bathroom was more of a wet room than a bathroom. Reception were very helpful although not over friendly and didn't seem to be able to manage a smile between them."

"A warm welcome with clear explanation on access. It’s not a manned reception so you’ll need the code. Lovely place and in the process of renovation which I knew before booking. Feels like you’re in the countryside but very close to Coventry, 10 mins to CBS Arena in taxi. Recommended. "
