"I was out all day, so basically came here to sleep. 2 issues. 1) I could not get any heating in the room, the communal areas were warm, but my room was unheated. 2) the smart TV did not have any internet so I couldn't log into Netflix. On the plus side, I had a bath & the bed was very comfortable. Useful tea/coffee facilities. Unfortunately I never got to try their breakfast."

"Well located and very easy!"

"Very tired decor- mouldy shower/ bathroom. Strong smell of disinfectant, exposed wiring on lights. Needs refurbishment."

"Booked a 3 night stay here.Great location, right opposite Osbourne House. Nice period property and room was spacious but tired in areas (shower had pieces of sealant hanging off and mould on the shower door). It would benefit from a good clean (eg dirty skirting boards, cobwebs, carpet stained). Hotel is situated on a main road so noisy even late at night with the windows open, although that didn't bother us. Had one evening meal here and one breakfast. Food was lovely although breakfast slow....

"Perfect location. Central to the island. Room was cool ..clean and quiet even above a pub. Breakfast was lovely"

"Clean and comfortable room , great location"

"Sweet well designed and decorated rooms"

"Very friendly and welcoming owner."

"The hotel was further from Lyndhurst than I expected and although that wasn't an issue, it was further than I anticipated. This for us was the only downside to the stay. The room was cosy and comfortable and somewhat quirky. We loved its uniqueness. The hotel restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed our dinner there on our overnight stay. We would definitely stay again as it was convenient for a stop over before embarking on a cruise the following day from Southampton."

"Well located at the beginning of that part of Oxford St. which is closed to vehicles and the location of a number of restaurants and pubs, most of which have both indoor and outdoor seating, including the White Star Tavern. Vehicle access is available right to side of the hotel. We arrived the afternoon of Halloween and all the staff were dressed in costume, which my wife and I thought was a nice touch. Our room was located two above the first floor, and the check-in person helped us with our...

"Stayed here many times it’s good value nice place to stay with good food"

"Fantastic. Really need to keep that a secret!"
