This was my second time travelling by myself and the staff here were great! Even when I was nervous and awkward, they were patient and welcoming! Parking was excellent, just dont forget to type your reg into the machine! Of course I had sirloin steak which was lovely and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend Harpers steakhouse.

We had some issues with cleanliness on arrival to our room, the staff were absolutely amazing and so helpful. The bathroom still needs a good deep clean, sadly that let the experience down. The windowsills weren't clean and the netting/curtains were dirty. The room was fitted out to a good standard and was modern and appeared luxurious with comfortable beds. Unfortunately the cleaning staff had let them down. The breakfast was lovely and all staff were absolutely brilliant.

Always comfortable rooms, great steaks and breakfast. We always stay here when we are going on a cruise as the later check out time is good, plenty of parking and you can have another coffee/ relax if your embarkation is later in the day.

It’s difficult leaving such a poor score, when all the negatives are relating to the dinning, not the hotel rooms themselves, which were clean, comfortable and were very well appointed, with usb A and C charge points, kettle, fridge, digital radio, fan, iron etc. I would stay here again but not use the restaurant. Having booked a table at 7:15pm for 9 in advance, we were told food would be 45 minutes to an hour. Food actually took 2 hours and by the time it arrived a few of us had lost our appetite, 2 bottles of wine were brought out in compensation. On ordering breakfast we advised of delays previous night and a tight schedule that day as we needed to leave on time, breakfast was delayed and they forgot my order, I ended up not having breakfast. Good hotel shocking restaurant service.

Best value around (booked direct when Expedia hiked the price - worth checking if it's close to stay date), v helpful manager and staff, sorted a TV problem quickly. Good traditional restaurant and bar. Good parking, and eye candy across the road for yachties. Standard room clean, quiet, and comfortable, with fridge and iron, and better-than-average tea/coffee making. Bathroom a bit on the small side, and plumbing rather tired, but not a problem.
