"a very unique and beautiful place. The owners have restored this old hotel beautifully and it is being maintained to very high standard. The staff are very good and provide a high standard of service to the guests."
"The unique thing about the Halfway House Inn is that it is truly dog friendly, no rip off £15 - 20 a night charge that we got at all the other hotels/pubs we stayed in on our 18 days away. We were made to feel welcome with our dog and not treated like 2nd class citizens"
"Excellent location and a lovely place to stay - breakfast was fantastic- room 10 is a little small however overall a great place to stay and the staff and owners are terrific "
"Fantastic location, wonderful views, beautifully appointed and well equiped. Very relaxing stay and fully recommend. Great value! One of the best places we have ever stayed in and hubby thinks it is the best ever!"

"Facilities were well organised and everything was as described. Bed was comfortable. Only downside wife me was that the carpet needs a clean, it is getting sticky under foot. Otherwise all good."
