We weren't able to have dinner at the renowned restaurant, but will definitely go back again to enjoy that experience which is supposed to be sensational. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. HIGHLY recommend Rosemead and can't wait to visit again!!"

"The Spinnakers Heritage House was an excellent place to stay while visiting Victoria. The room was absolutely lovely. We really enjoyed the local soaps and tea. It is a great location - close enough to walk to downtown and cafes in West Vic. The staff was great and we enjoyed our complimentary truffles and beer flight at the pub. We would love to come back in the future - so sad to hear it will be closing!"

"The kids really enjoyed the seals, otters, and blue herons in the harbour. Additionally, the pool, hot tub, and enjoyable stroll or water taxi to the other side of the harbour. The staff, views, and location were incredible!"

"Beautiful and colourful place. Location was perfect. Room had what we needed and was had a great retro aesthetic. The Ruby had very enjoyable and high quality breakfast/lunch fare. Did not use the pool, slide or hot tub but everyone we heard seemed to be having lots of fun"

"Bathroom smelled like raw sewage or rotten fish / dead animal.. maybe the P-trap or sewer system has a problem or maybe it really is animal-related. Room was never cleaned properly over 3 days. Amazingly bad homeless and addicts in the area. Worst neighborhood situation ever. All that aside, the restaurant was awesome and the front desk staff super friendly. But whatever causes that smell needs to be fixed."

"The hotel was fine, but the cost was expensive for value. I normally stay at holiday in which is considered a lower star hotel- offers free breakfast etc. this was “ok. Clean and comfortable for sure. They made a chocolate plate for my daughter’s bday which was fabulous… but all around just ok."

"It’s an older hotel so here are the positives. Location is great! You are walking distance from most restaurants and retail as well as the inner harbour so it’s a vibrant area. Handy to have a restaurant & bar within the hotel if you want to enjoy a drink and the view. Negatives were no air conditioning in the hotel. Our first 2 nights were manageable but 3rd night the temperature was in the mid 80s and uncomfortable especially trying to sleep. Our room was near the elevator and extremely noisy....
