"Shower was unique with lovely scene. The fellow who cleaned our sink trap out was just great. He is also the one who installed the shower. Bathroom door was very creaky and noisy. Breakfast was fine, especially the attention to detail and cleanliness which was very appreciated. The garden area could be rejuvenated and cleaned up a bit. Bed and bedding were good - every thing else was ok."

"We are locals and had a celebration to attend, so we decided to stay downtown. This is a basic hotel in a very convenient location in downtown Victoria BC. It is not a fancy place but breakfast was very good, beds were comfortable, and the room and property was clean and well maintained (May 2026). "Stayed one night. Had to tolerate a terrible noxious smell through out the hotel from driveway resealing. It was even worse in our room right beside the driveway. Gave us terrible headaches. They told us the smell would dissipate soon after application but when we returned to our room hours later it was worse. Then we had no water in the room from a burst pipe. Couldn’t stay in these conditions and had to leave at midnight to find another hotel. Not okay. This hotel should not have been renting...

"Amenity was very extensive, great value for the money. My 700sqft suite felt very comfortable, however we felt some of the finishing and layout is a bit outdated. Amenity within the kitchen was very helpful for us considering dining in the suite instead of spending extra money dining out. "
