"Great people,great hotel BUT...the coffee machine was a Nespresso and the bane of our existence while we were there. You end up making coffee every two minutes as it only gives a small cup, room service barely leaves enough pods (4 pods is about 1 real cup of coffee) and.. it's not that good. If only for the Nespresso machine we won't be returning."

"You know you are above a pub, so there is the usual music and conversation noises. Pub closes at 1:00 and is not a “club” so not insane thumping and loud screaming or anything. So, knowing that, I LOVED the large room and the kitchenette. Very clean, cool abstract art pieces, clean crisp sheets, with lots of pillows and comfortable bed. Sweet couch, airy 16 foot (?) ceiling. Excellent location and staff super clear and helpful, esp with parking. Fabulous stay!"

"We had a lovely stay here. The hotel itself was incredibly cozy and charming. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was fantastic! Breakfast was complete with a daily menu of simple, savory and sweet options served to you by a kind, energetic staff. We also highly recommend having the afternoon snack. We had a delicious tomato soup that were still talking about! We would highly recommend this hotel, and plan to stay again when we’re next in Victoria!"

"Our first adult trip to Victoria (we both have lived in Washington state for nearly 70 years) was greatly enhanced by our three night stay at The Magnolia in early December. Staff was fantastic, location was very convenient to the harbor, shopping, and lots of bars and restaurants. We stayed in one of their corner rooms and really enjoyed the additional room that it provided. Very nice room, comfortable furnishings, and super responsive housekeeping staff.
