"The room was nice enough - standard layout and decor as you’d expect for a hotel du vin. Bathroom nice. Corridors looked a little tired but not too bad. Bar and lounge area were ok but nothing special. Terrace is fantastic- or at least the situation is. Served our purpose very well as a place to stay to go to a party nearby. Reception staff very helpful. "

Their policy says that no show results in cancellation. "After reading the negative reviews, I was a bit apprehensive but shouldn’t have been, it was a great stay for our family of 4. The studio was as advertised and the sofa bed was made up for our kids. "This place has been transformed from a house into a 10 room guest house but with virtually no health and safety measures in place or faulty/unusable ones. The rooms, themselves, are ok but small but, again, no PAT Testing done, no fire exits highlighted etc. The showers are filthy and poorly maintained (more water comes out of the hose than reaches the head). "Great little apartment, so nice to be in a room with high ceilings and panelling. Well fitted out kitchen, with proper knives for cooking, plenty of pans and a colander. A couple of minor notes, the most relevant has to be the carpet, which was rather filthy tbh. Not particulates, more the staining and general condition. As a retired owner of a deep cleaning business, I would recommend once annually in rooms where food is cooked. Normally every 2 years (with spotting) in std hotel rooms is ok....
