"Very disappointing overall. Upon arrival, the receptionist couldn’t find our booking because it had been accidentally deleted by the reservation team. Thankfully, a helpful manager eventually provided us with a room. The room itself was quite small, with tiny beds and a poor layout. The bathroom had a large, unused empty space, while the main room barely had enough space to place luggage on the floor. There was no fridge, and the decoration was very basic and uninspiring. "From arrival to departure everything was perfect. Reception were great, checkin was smooth, we parked in the hotel multi storey, the rooms were lovely and comfortable especially the bed. We had a delicious breakfast. Will definitely use again."

"I loved this place. When I go to England, I enjoy these smaller, transformed hotels much more than bigger ones and Hand and Spear has been the best. The room I got was spacious with ample wardrobe space and beautiful decor. The bath was insane with a beautiful claw foot tub. I’m very self-sufficient when I travel so I don’t expect a room made up each day but I’m sure they would accommodate you and they quickly brought extra towels when I asked. The thing is…my room had food and a little fridge...

"Breakfast was lovely, Room was great , staff excellent, we had 3 Harley Davidson motorcycle, the parking was very safe 👍. Overall a great couple of days , loved everything about this hotel , the staff go out of there way to help if needed . Will definitely recommend, and will definitely be back one day ,thank you ."
