"I was worried about parking before I came-but it was fine. The 'disc' people talk about is just a clock. Overnight parking is free, on the the street parking bays, and you can set the clock in the evening so that you get a couple of free hours in the morning. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of options. Hotel restaurant, and bar atmosphere was buzzing! Our room overlooking the park was beautiful-only complaint was there wasn't a place with a power point and mirror where you could sit and do your hair and make up-even though the room was huge! (unless you sat on the bed!) Hexham was great with lots of restaurants close by."

"The reception was really busy when I checked in, the staff seemed overwhelmed and the person who checked me in was curt and abrupt. I hadn’t been aware of the overnight parking charge of £25 (a third of the price of the room) but the staff member very dismissively mentioned it and didn’t pick up at all my reaction to it. I will be choosing elsewhere in future. The ‘free’ cookie was nice"

"Handy for fhe metro centre, staff friendly and helpful. Room smelled a bit like dog - it's pet friendly so not that surprising. I stay here regulary, it's a good stop off for travelling further south and good value for money."
