"It was good overall. This place had lots of kitchen supplies including rice cooker and beach supplies. We used barbecue grill in the porch but it wasn’t clean so we had to clean it before we used it. The air conditioning was great and each room had fans. We had great time while we’re staying."

"It's a beautiful place, gardens and flowering trees kept in immaculate condition. A really nice pool and jacuzzi, and an easy walk to the black sand beach. The staff are friendly and helpful and the apartment was great, well equipped with everything we needed including laundry. I definitely recommend Colony 1, and would love to stay here again."

"A great property that is very conveniently located in Kona. The condo rental had everything needed and the covered parking was great. Owner was prompt in responding when there was an issue with the code to get in. A nice little beach next door although it seems to be an overnight homeless sleeping area. We didnt have any safety issues that came from that though. Would stay again if back in Kona."

"We’ve been to Hawaii 5 times and this was our first time staying at a resort and were blown away. The rooms were really nice, the property is beautiful and well kept, all the staff we encountered were friendly, and the pool and lagoon were amazing!! Dining was a little limited but all good. We would stay here again and definitely recommend it! "
